Orchids & Ornaments

I am having an ongoing love affair with floral prints, i just can't stop buying them!

This variation is a sexy dark romantic Orchid Print mesh maxi dress from Asos. Maxi dresses are perfect for the summer and the black base of this dress makes it suitable as a day or evening wear. I love the mesh down the centre of the bust. I know the mesh down the centre wouldn't appeal to everyone, but this gorgeous print comes in a midi dress too which is an equally good alternative to go with. Finally I spiced up the look with the embellished stone harness and a studded cuff bracelet to add a fresh and edgy flavour. Last but not least, I really adore these sunnies from MinkPink, these are actually my raver sunnies and its about time they got some attention from someone other than a DJ.

Floral Fantasy

This time of the year you can always count on a full on floral fever trend blooming. The print on these Topshop jeans are so delicate and feminine. I love that these jeans are dipped in blush pink pastel shade - the subtlety is stunning. When wearing delicate florals its important to opt for lightweight fabrics or ladylike silhouettes. Seeing as London's weather is naturally unpredictable, I paired the jeans with a placid blue soft knit jumper. Knitwear doesn't compliment a feminine touch to the look hence why I accessorised the outfit  with my favourite dainty evil eye necklace. I adore these white shoes, they're super comfy and white matches everything - perfect with this spring ensemble.

Typo-Trend

Speaking through fashion is what hot's this season. I love my clothes adorned with fonts, cheeky typographic elements and bold statements to express myself. Free speech has never been more in, maybe its because I am a Graphic Designer and that has influenced my taste towards fashion typography.

I love the statement on this graphic tee, feel like its so appropriate for me. The red compliments the newspaper print tights, otherwise practically any colour would go with the newspaper tights, imagine being able to read the news on your legs… LEGLINE NEWS! Moreover, these Wildfox sunnies complete the whole Typo street chic look.

Here's my suggestions to all you fashionistas, find what inspires or excites you and fuse it with your style. Try and express your interest through fashion, you might be surprised what you may come up with... hey.. for all you know you'll make your own LEGLINE NEWS!

Dreaming of Coachella….

How I wish I could be at Coachella right now! I love music festivals, its always a great opportunity to experiment with new looks for the events. You can go as crazy as you want with prints and bright colours, anything and everything goes. For me, its also crucial to be comfortable because the last thing I need is a wardrobe malfunction of accessories flying off me whilst dancing or having to pull my shorts back down (issues of having of long legs)

This would be my Coachella look….if I were there right now. Fingers crossed next year!

I'm really into Folklore prints right now, its probably suitable for Coachella too as its not a rave but more of a relaxed and chilled out music festival. These Folklore pants are an absolute dream. There really comfy and not too long, so wouldn't be tripping if I was dancing too much. Even though the pants have a very boho edge to it, I wanted to keep it feminine and dainty, so I matched it with a powder pink peplum spaghetti strap crop top. Exposing your collarbone and shoulders is always flattering for all shaped women, best item to wear if you want to look sexy. Since the top was a bit low, a necklace accessory was a must.

Headpieces are my thing. I have quite a collection to play with, there always a fun accessory although be prepared to have your brothers and boyfriends mock you with banter and relate you back to a fictional character. Accessorising the look with a black hat from Miss Selfridge and my cute PVC backpack so my hands are free to Instagram. This look is a Folklore Fantasy….
