Modern Romance

Its wedding season - which obviously means you're spending all your time and money searching for dress after dress to wear for ceremony after ceremony. Its always tough to find that dress that isn't too plain jane or a bit too on the sexy side. This sexy peplum dress with lace panelling is a cross of the two, and totally appropriate for a wedding function! This dress is from Self Portrait, their whole collection is stunning! I especially love the mesh sleeves, they make the dress look sexy in moderation...

Complimenting the whole look are these super cool filigree glasses and black heels. These beautiful red peonies complete the look with a touch of romance.

Having a Bradshaw Fashion Moment

I've been re-watching Sex and The City lately and wanted to do a look inspired by Carrie's fabulous style.

Carrie Bradshaw Queen-bee of fictional fashion - makes the simplest looks super chic and edgy. I would kill (metaphorically) for her wanderlust wardrobe. This look was inspired by her, the only thing that would complete it would be the backdrop of NYC.

Carrie always known for her tutu and tank look and outstanding accessories. Similiarly here, I've worn this stunning structured contrast hem midi-skirt with a plain crop top. The key to a successful look is to be fearless with fashion, don't be afraid to think outside the box. The lilac feather bag definitely plays a crucial part in accessorising, its super chic and pretty.Im wearing diamond icon earrings from Coco's Liberty (www.cocosrevenge.com) - you all seriously need to get yourself a pair of infographic diamond earrings and the pendant. They are incredibly funky and cool, just can't take them off!

Finally, I've had these shoes for a year and have been waiting for the right moment to blog them. They we're an amazing steal from a River Island sale, one of my best shoe steals to date.

Mixing Lengths

I gave in and bought myself a duster coat after resisting for 2 months, it was futile to resist. I do however believe clothing like this does require some styling work with it. I teamed by this stunning pink coat with a playsuit from Missguided. Its totally okay to go for a shorter look with a mega long coat - It's unpredictable!!

Playsuits are always summer's hottest wardrobe staples. Fresh, flirty and fun yet so easy to put together. No dithering or coordination issues here, just an all-in-one-piece. I adore the metal belts, it adds to the simplicity of the playsuit even though I am not really a belt person. I feel like Barbie with the amount of blush pink that I own, I do need a new colour to blush on, any suggestions?

I accessorised this look with a gold choker to match the belt. As I've said in the past, I love chokers and am really enjoying the choker trend and its been fun experimenting with different necklaces. I've topped the look off with a camel coloured hat….trying to enjoy the summertime madness!!!

Cuz I'm a 90s baby

This week I've experimented with some stunning pieces of jewellery from Coco Liberty (www.cocosrevenge.com). I am so excited to share with you these gorgeous items. If you haven't come across them before, I highly recommend you check them out, but absolutely get yourself the diamond icon pendant if you are into infographics like me. I LOVE infographic icons and these earrings are nothing short of a dream come true. As you can see the, I couldn't stop obsessing over the Throne Room Ring, its an outstanding statement ring.

I have styled this dainty jewellery with a rocker girl edge….yes I am a 90s girl and super proud of it. The 90s are making a come back this year in fashion and honestly it just inspires me to really fuse new styles into my look - hence the tattoo choker and the matching Denim daisy Co-ord. Don't be afraid to stretch yourself my fellow fashionista's go out there and try on something new.
