The Blanky Coat

MY OOTD: Blanket Cape Glamorous from Asos | Leotard Topshop | Jeans Asos | Hat Topshop | Boots Newlook (1 year ago) | Necklace Tatty Devine | Handbag Chloe

Have you ever had one of those days where you just refuse to leave your bed and when you do you wished you had the comfort of the duvet still wrapped around you? I know I do....and if you feel the same then this trend is definitely for you!

Blankets are not anymore just comfortable but also the coolest way to wrap up in style and keep warm this fall. Inspired by Burberry's AW14 finale, I too have embraced the biggest outwear trend for the winter. I forever struggle to leave the cozy comfort of my bed especially around this time of the year, so for me this chic blanket cape is nothing short of a life saver!

Warm , cozy, versatile, luxurious and stylish - you just can't go wrong with a snuggly blanket coat. A Burberry blanket coat may not be within everyones budget, so here is what I like to call the high street chic alternative from Glamorous on Asos. I just love the look of this shawl draped over me.

Sporting this trend with basics: black leotard, high waist jeans and knee-high boots. Knee high boots have always made an instant statement once the weather cools down. Last but not least is my favourite red calfskin Chloe bag, which is an effortless beauty and great for an everyday look with just about any outfit.

Grayscale

MY OOTD: Long Sleeve Top Asos | Cape with Roll Neck Asos | Jeans Liquor n Poker | Shoes Asos | Bag Celine | Sunglasses Spitfire

Finally back in london and loving the christmas spirit! For this shoot I've collaborated with a very gifted photographer, Todd TC. I am so excited to be back in the cold weather, I always have fun bundling up in knitwear and mixing and matching different colours. I can't get enough of monochromatic styling and layering of different tones together. For this fall my wardrobe has turned total grayscale, black and white is a classic combination, but I find it appears even more chic when combined with gray as it softens the bold contrast.

On to the OOTD, so these jeans are seriously my new favourite. I have been searching everywhere for the perfect torn jeans and I finally found it at Liquor n Poker. They are amazing, and so comfy and super grungy. Pairing these jeans with a white long sleeve top and this grey roll neck cape. I love the dropped hem at the back and the split sides that have zips too. As I've said before, high neck beauties are this season's biggest knitwear trend.

Favourite part of my look are these shoes!!!!! I love the pistols on the back, they look like shoes of mass destruction! I literally haven't been able to take them off since I got them. Best winter buy to add to my endless collection of black boots!

The Maxi T-shirt

MY OOTD: Maxi Tshirt Missguided | Skirt Topshop (similiar here) | Bag Newlook | Shoes Asos (2 years ago) | Sunglasses Asos ( 2 years ago) | Choker Asos

This Maxi T-shirt Dress has to be the coolest type of t-shirt in my wardrobe. The high slits down the sides are haute and rebellious and give a sneak peek of my leopard print skirt. The great thing about this is it can be styled in so many different ways; with shorts, skirts, jeans, pants, tights, or even with bikini bottoms whilst on holiday at a resort.

Sporting this ensemble with my favourite backpack, with insanely cool retro cateye monochrome sunnies and my favourite choker! Hope you guys had a great weekend! Lots of looks from London coming soon!!!

Yin & Yang

For this shoot I’ve chosen the backdrop as one of Hong Kong's well known shrines and considered by many one of the most scenic attractions the city has to offer, The Wong Tai Sin Temple. It is so beautiful and colourful in the way displays traditional Chinese architecture with pagoda style roofs and classic lanterns.

This was a perfect opportunity to wear my Yin and Yang jewellery tattoo from Seekers of the Sun. I am a huge fan of their luxury tattoos, they are very different to your conventional tattoos and make a gorgeous accessory. What I love about these tattoos is you can experiment with all the different shapes and patterns until they make your desired design.

I pursued a glam look for this shoot by wearing a backless halter neck jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are a style staple. It’s one of the trends that usually people in the fashion and art industry would wear whilst everyone else would mock it. I really like this outfit from Missguided because of the attractive and sexy backless back and ofcourse you all know I can't resist flower prints!  I feel it is necessary to have alternate options besides dresses and skirts if you want to feel glamorous and comfortable.

Im not really a belt person, but this belt really helps to create an illusion of a trimmer waist whilst complementing some body shape. Over here, I wore it to cinch the top of my jumpsuit from the bottom.

Ive matched this jumpsuit with a white tuxedo blazer with mesh embroidered sleeves, only neutral colours can really be paired with this jumpsuit. I feel that accessorizing with this sleek blazer is what makes this look so effortlessly chic.

Not to mention these gorgeous earrings from Rara de barr, I can't tell you how many times I've worn this earrings! I just love them! I never really wearing earrings, but these are definitely my favourite, and a must buy! Thank you so much for them Rara de barr!

Fanged' Up

So I was a little lazy this halloween and not in the mood to go all out like I usually do, however I still can’t help but notice the Halloween inspired prints everywhere, skeleton dresses and jumpsuits, vampire prints, pumpkin tights or boxers... so many different halloween inspired accessories!!! So for this ootd  / street look I wanted to experiment styling with a spooky festive touch.

I got this cute fang print skirt from Asos, which honestly I think is a super cool print especially when I can match with a fanged lips handbag. I've always loved Lulu Guinness Lips Bags, so when I came across this vampire lips bag, I knew it would be a crucial accessory to my Halloween inspired look! I was quite indecisive though with on what coloured top I could pair with my skirt. I don’t enjoy following the regular or standard styling techniques so I finally decided on a simple white crop top with a black bralet to give the look some fresh eye-catching edge. As all of you already know, I love headpiece veils and especially for this look I found the perfect black butterflies veil to capture the dark and gothic side of fashion beauty.

MY OOTD:

Skirt: Asos
Top: Topshop
Bralet: Asos
Shoes: Newlook
Bag: Asos
Choker: Asos
Butterfly Veil: Asos
