Bandana Obsessed

MY OOTD: Crop Sweater Topshop (out of stock) | Jeans Topshop | Scarf Zara | Shoes Asos | Sunglasses Spitfire | Bag Chloé | Earrings Lu Lu Guinness

I'm kinda bored with accessorizing with statement necklaces, and currently in love with this effortlessly cool way of accessorizing my neck with a western twist! Spotting this trend on the New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer runway, designers; Coach, Cynthia Rowley and Wes Gordon all have the same thinking to bring back this 90s staple. I caved in too, and am obsessed with this trend!

Yes I know it looks cowboyish and western, but this 90s trend is making a major come back this Spring! Even Hermés has redesigned their iconic square scarves in a bandana style! If you all do decide to sport this trend too, please tag me on instagram so I can see how you have styled this trend too!

I'm a bit heartbroken, lost this scarf few days ago on a night out - so this blog post is an ode to this bandana print scarf from Zara.

White Hot in Jaipur

MY OOTD: Top Missguided | Skirt Missguided | Necklace Newlook | Shoes Asos | Sunglasses Asos

I don’t normally post my outfit shots taken from my Iphone since I am quite particular about the quality of the images that I publish online (ofcourse!), but in this case I received such an overwhelming response that I had to make a blogception (blogger mandated exception).
For this shoot I was in India for a family wedding, the top and skirt are from Missguided; I’m not really a fan of boob tube tops as I feel too bare so I always opt to accessorize it with a stylish chunky necklace.

Fringes & Flares

MY OOTD: Jeans Asos | Shirt Topshop | Waistcoat Zara | Shoes Forever 21 | Bag Chloé | Sunglasses Le Specs | Necklace Topshop

The Seventies Silhouettes are back, especially when it comes to denim which has definitely got me excited! For this look I am grooving on the 70s vibe with the flares and fringes, by now you must all be thinking that I am true hippie at heart.
For this shoot I have collaborated with the extremely talented photographer Long Guan to capture my groove. Long Guans focus is usually towards wedding photography but for this shoot he has done a fantastic job to capture that 70s mood.
To me skinny jeans is a must and is staple to my wardrobe, they are easy to style and pull off as opposed to flares which require a little more of a fashion thought process behind it. One tip is for certain that flares always look best when worn with heels because the extra height makes the trend both slimming and flattering. So for all my fellow fashionistas seeking a look to show off the long slim legs then I highly recommend styling with flares for this spring!
