Kimono Krush

So I was in Brighton when I was shooting this look, such a beautiful artsy place! There was so much to do it was such a lovely get away from the hustle and bustle of busy London.

The Kimono trend is in full effect, it is a mix between a shawl and a drop shoulder cardigan. This oriental glam style trend is versatile, depending on the colour and print. It can be worn for any occasion, whether it be in the day, during a night out, for festivals or even while chilling at the beach for example I've mixed and matched it with a denim dress. I always like to experiment with a splash of colour to my look, to surprise myself and keep fashion an interesting art.

The loose fitting drape garment gives a flattering structure and hides the shape of your body, its perfect for those for those unexcepted bloated days! I've accessorised my look with 90s style choker, I am absolutely in love with this at the moment. It has been the epitome of my neck party for the past 2 months. These white trainers from Primark are brilliant in style and price, they have so far been the most affordable purchase this spring and more importantly provide a sporty luxe look to this outfit.

Orchids & Ornaments

I am having an ongoing love affair with floral prints, i just can't stop buying them!

This variation is a sexy dark romantic Orchid Print mesh maxi dress from Asos. Maxi dresses are perfect for the summer and the black base of this dress makes it suitable as a day or evening wear. I love the mesh down the centre of the bust. I know the mesh down the centre wouldn't appeal to everyone, but this gorgeous print comes in a midi dress too which is an equally good alternative to go with. Finally I spiced up the look with the embellished stone harness and a studded cuff bracelet to add a fresh and edgy flavour. Last but not least, I really adore these sunnies from MinkPink, these are actually my raver sunnies and its about time they got some attention from someone other than a DJ.

Floral Fantasy

This time of the year you can always count on a full on floral fever trend blooming. The print on these Topshop jeans are so delicate and feminine. I love that these jeans are dipped in blush pink pastel shade - the subtlety is stunning. When wearing delicate florals its important to opt for lightweight fabrics or ladylike silhouettes. Seeing as London's weather is naturally unpredictable, I paired the jeans with a placid blue soft knit jumper. Knitwear doesn't compliment a feminine touch to the look hence why I accessorised the outfit  with my favourite dainty evil eye necklace. I adore these white shoes, they're super comfy and white matches everything - perfect with this spring ensemble.

Out FUR a walk!

My wardrobe looks like a cotton candy store, there's candy pink everywhere! I seriously need to stop buying pink, its been ridiculously hard since it's been trending majorly this season.

Im wearing Love Peace & Hair Grease print shirt dress from Lazy Oaf. I love this punchy graphic print, it reminds me of the pop culture. The brand Lazy Oaf itself is inspired by the 90s and childhood memories.  I paired this smocked shape dress with knee high boots to give the overall look of this outfit as a bit sexy. Its always a bit tricky when wearing prints, but the key thing to remember is to accessorise using solid colours. Repeating a colour from the print helps complement each other instead of clashing. In my case, I've complemented the look with black boots and a pink handbag (both colours used in the print of the dress). Colours don't have to match exactly, but close enough so that its clear they are meant to go together.

Peak-a-boo Lace Hem

So Im finally back in London…. YAY! After 3 months of being in Hong Kong, have to say was a little sad to leave home this time but on the bright side I am back with my first love - Oxford Street! I've always found myself whilst walking on Oxford street, marvelling at the latest designs and styling. The different experiences each shop offers. My second home Selfridges… throne room of London Fashion; displaying history of bold initiatives when it comes to creative concepts. I guess thats what's inspired me to be bold with my style.

This look is quite simple. Normally I would say, pairing a crop top and a skirt could potentially look vulgar, however I feel the best way to avoid that scenario is to make sure that if you are wearing a crop top, your skirt, jeans, tights (whatever bottom you decide to match it with) is not low rise.

I've styled myself to make it look edgier with 90s tattoo choker necklace, cat eye glasses and burgundy lips. Dark lips was my obsession this winter - I  like the gothic edge it gives me. I do really want to try Black lipstick, think you all might think I'm taking this obsession of grunge goth take on my style to a whole new level, but I've always been a risk-taker with my style.

Stripes for Spring

I had an amazing day at Sheung Wan. It reminds me a lot of  East London, art galleries, quirky cafes and restaurants and the crowd. Loved it! On to the look, its quite feminine compared to my usual rugged grunge. Very clean and perfect for spring. The blush pink fur crop top from New Look is incredibly soft and good match with these strip jeans from Topshop. The Zara white jacket concludes the whole look. Its always good to match a solid colour with stripes, so it doesn't look too over the top.
